PR Partner conducted online event for Avast company for the fourth time
November 18, 2021 — Future Tech practice and the Event-Department of PR Partner organized an online event for Avast company. It was attended by 17 journalists from news agencies, tier 1 IT and business media. The conference was attended by journalists from RIA Novosti, TASS, Gazeta.Ru, RBC, Kommersant, Rossiyskaya Gazeta and many others.
Speakers, Alexey Fedorov, Avast Country Lead Russia & CIS, and Michal Salat, Director of Threat Research at Avast, discussed the results of 2021, shared the main cybersecurity forecasts for 2022 and explained the concept of the company's new brand.
Alexey and Michal talked about how the number of ransomware attacks has increased over the past few months, discussed new schemes of cryptocurrency and malware fraud.
We wanted to meet at the restaurant and have a face-to-face conversation but decided that online is still safer. After the event, the journalists were brought home a traditional lunch from a Czech restaurant. As gifts, we chose gingerbread houses, kitchen aprons and potholders with the Avast logo. New Year is camming!
